This and That of a Thursday

Nothing much in the news today, well other than you can now give a name to the personality of your cat . I think Cleo is a Personal Assistant, and Kit Kat would probably be a Secret Admirer. I could be wrong though. Mostly we just call her Evil Kitty and him Mr Hork-up, but that's just us.

I added about 350 books to my shelfari account. And that's only touching the list of things I've read. I have them in no particular order at the moment, but sooner or later I'll organize them. And add more. And get my to be read list up. I'll cave in and start reading the Dune stuff this summer I think. :) It'll make Ed happy, and maybe I'll even watch the movie when it's over. Which will make Ed happy too. Then he'll probably want me to watch Bladerunner. That might be pushing it though. I've managed to avoid that one for almost 11 years, I'm sure I can avoid it for another 11. :)

Good grief, we've been together almost 11 years. Whoa... That's such a big number, considering I'm not even thirty. Yet. It approacheth though.

Dude, it's 9:00 at night, stop mowing your lawn for freak's sake! At least the mutant children across the street have stopped screaming.

Tomorrow is THE day. Ed takes his last final at CCBC, becoming a community college graduate, and has the entire summer off of school! And we go to the Melting Pot ! YAY!!!!

Umm... what else was exciting today? I drove Ed's car. I went out to lunch with a couple of coworkers. Ed let me take the back roads home. How awesome that is with the top down! The trees were super green, and we didn't have the belt way noise. Very refreshing for me, considering I had spent the last five years commuting on the back roads, up a mountain, through the trees, and all. The highway system just doesn't do it for me. I get so angry and pissed off looking at tail lights, jersey barriers and the huge concrete sound barriers. Drives me nuts, I tell ya.

Oh dear, I just dropped a crumb of my angel food cake down my shirt. Yes, the food place sent it, so its not cheating. :) Not that I care much. I'm dropping slowly, very slowly, but I'm okay with it. Erianne just may not have to worry about the outfit. I may push harder after my final test. I do need to start exercising again. I just seem to be so tired when I get home. That, and the delight of freedom from homework.

I'm happy to say that my moods seem to have leveled out. I think it was a combination of PMS and stress. The bleeding never really stopped, but it's getting a tiny bit chunky right now. I do need to schedule a gyno visit. The only thing they're going to tell me though, is to lose weight and go on birth control. In the words of Bartleby, "I'd prefer not to." At least on the birth control part. I don't like the idea of messing with my hormones. Of course, obviously my hormones seem to be out of whack. And this coming from the girl who took ohhh... I don't know... ten years to go on happy pills, and now is actually almost perfectly happy at times. Perhaps when I'm forty, I'll finally consent to birth control as well. We shall see.

I think I've nattered on enough to qualify this as a real entry of the days events. I'm not sure what I'll do next. I need to figure out what I'm going to wear tomorrow, I suppose. I mean, we ARE going out to dinner at a decent place and all. Oooo... I can taste the cheese already!

Oh dear, my minigoal is going to blown away by tomorrow's meal. Oh well, too bad. This is a twice a year dinner for us, and I WANT IT!

I hope my links work. Last time they didn't, no matter what I did, and I ended up losing most of my entry to boot. Weird. *Crosses fingers*

I like your bookshelf, so I had to get one of my own. I would like to add you as one of my friends on there, but I'm not sure how. Also, I am starting a diaryland group because it looks like Chaos also has a shelf. Join if you wish.
